1) Do not specify the purpose of your corporate video
In order to produce a useful video for the company, it is imperative to define the goal and the target audience. This will allow you to put yourself in the shoes of your target, to keep in mind key elements in order to make a coherent and successful video. You can also include a call to action in order to reach your goal (subscribe, links available...)
2) Wanting to say too much
Investing time and money in a corporate video often results in multiple messages and topics. Unfortunately, this often results in videos that are too dense and may confuse your audience. Therefore, you need to make videos with a single, simple purpose in order for them to be effective.
3) Do not script
To make a video that captivates and whose information is retained, you must tell a story. To do this, it is absolutely necessary to go through the stage of the script/director or even a storyboard before the shooting. This will allow you to keep the coherence in the succession of the shots, to save time, and to anticipate what you will need (places, accessories...). Above all, it will ensure a logical and efficient result.
4) Neglecting the quality of your video
Nowadays, Internet users are faced with a large amount of online content on the web and on networks, so their demands are also increasing. To mark them, it is thus necessary to opt for a dynamic and qualitative format. The videos must be short enough, rhythmic enough with an irreproachable sound and visual quality to please this more and more informed public.
